SAP has appointed Jeroen van der Lingen as Managing Director for the Netherlands. His predecessor Rinse Tamsma has opted for a different challenge within SAP after 3 years.
Jeroen van der Lingen has been working at SAP since 1989 and has held several strategic positions. He recently led SAP’s SuccessFactors activities in EMEA North. In addition, in the past 11 years he has held positions as Country Manager for SAP Sweden, Head of Education EMEA, Managing Director of SAP Nordics and Head of Services Sales for the EMEA region. He started his career within SAP as an R/2 consultant in Germany.
Growth strategy
In his new position as Managing Director, Jeroen van der Lingen focuses on further innovation with, among other things, RISE with SAP: a suite of solutions, services and a cloud infrastructure that simplifies digital transformation. In addition, he will focus on realizing the ambitious growth strategy in our country.
Leadership
Van der Lingen not only knows the SAP organization through and through, he has also proven in recent years that he has strategic, commercial and operational leadership. He brings an enormous amount of IT expertise with him and knows exactly what the crucial role of digitization is for business. He has also gained a wealth of experience in managing large transformation projects.
Van der Lingen: “Under the leadership of Rinse Tamsma, the demand for cloud solutions has clearly grown, important strategic partnerships with customers have been established and we have become a company with more diversity. I would like to thank him for the results he has achieved over the past 3 years and will continue his transformative strategy.”
“The pandemic has had a major impact on the way companies do business. Issues such as flexibility, resilience and operational excellence have become even more important than before. I am very much looking forward to achieving further growth in the Netherlands and helping our customers to excel in these circumstances and grow into intelligent enterprises.”
